Personal Projects

This is where I look for models for personal projects. These shoots are done TFP (Time For Print). These are either to practice something new or for possible publication. As there is no profit involved, we collaborate on the shoot and you get digital copies of all the edited images in your own password protected gallery here which you can download. If there is any special wardrobe requirements, I will purchase them as you get to keep them as a thank you for the time.

I’m a photographer living in the lovely Cotswolds area. I have been shooting mostly monochrome fine art beauty and nude portraits. I just love the classical look and feel, however I have also been dabbling with some unconventional lighting and gotten some amazing results, so don’t be afraid to reach out if you would like to work with me on something different. I am always happy to shoot new things. I will also continue to shoot with experimental lighting and will always say yes to a great location shoot.

What to expect from me:

I love to preplan so we both know what we are hoping to create. I use Pinterest and the shoot plan feature on PurplePort. They are great for sharing ideas.

I like feedback and collaboration between us during the planning. It should be a collaboration!

I treat every shoot like the model is a paying customer no matter what the arrangement was. I share the photos as we both created them together.

I try to be as timely as possible about sharing the images in a password protected site you can download from.

I am not a heavy editor, it’s about creating at the shoot! No liquify or heavy-handed editing here!

I try to keep the shoot light-hearted and fun! When we are finished, I hope that you have felt like you feel like you have spent time chatting with a friend and managed to get some amazing images to boot!

Classical art nudes

What I hoping to capture is a series of classical art nudes. I am thinking low light high contrast images both black and white and colour images. I'm looking for something classical, beautiful and timeless. This should be a celebration of the human form rather then glamour style photos. There will be chairs, posing boxes and other items we can use to help with some interesting possibilities. There is the opportunity for publication should you be interested in that.
